Unlock from Vodaphone

My son has just been given a Huawei mobile phone, hes on Giffgaff and the phone is locked to Vodaphone, phone is asking for a sim unlock code, any ideas where i can get this?

Take it to a phone shop in your local town and they will unlock it to all networks may cost about £20 and takes a couple of hours to receive the code

I had old motorola phone that was with tesco mobile, gave it to a mate who had damaged his own phone at work he took my old phone to tesco mobile and they unlocked it for free

if the owner of the phone got it from vodafone, he can ask them for a code to unlock it.
