Hi All,

I'm in Derby. (I know)
Anyone experienced or know anyone who's had a block by Virgin Media today?
Mine happened around 14:30 and still down,

Took the wifi off to use the Vodafone hotspot and it works on Tivimate and Smarters. (TV, phone etc)

Just wanted to query before taking the VPN route.
Unplugged the Virgin Hub and cleared the cache from Tivimate but still nothing.

I'll ride the day out using hotspot but any thoughts for a VPN?
2nd gen Firetick

No issues with VM blocks with me, no issues either with using a vpn as many do

Thanks.

I forgot to add using the VM Wifi, I could still access free Tv on the firestick like TalkTV as a test.

However when in Tivimate for the IPTV, nothing apart from the blue loading arrow on the black screen.

Have you reboot your router and device from the sockets? Generally works for most but Vm ain't blocking at the mo!

I have had this issue, my brother-in-law was blocked and I was not (albeit a year or two ago), both on VM and only about 3 miles apart. They (VM) seem to target areas, a VPN will negate the blocks, hope this helps!

Make sure you pull power lead out of router and leave it switched off for a good 5 mins.
Let it fully reboot before you start to connect any devices.
