virus attacking facebook

I.T. consultants love them cos it keeps them in work!! I've gotten jobs out of them!! :rock on:
 
Hey all!!

Okay... here's the malware situation out there currently. The Facebook "virus" is a worm known as Koobface. This is a pretty nasty piece of malware, and it's ability to spread on Facebook makes it one to be monitored. However, it isn't that advanced in hiding on a system or remaining undetectable, so the latest variants can be easily removed. Anyone need help? :)

The msn virus is a pretty nasty one. It's mutation simply makes it pretty hard to control, and it's ability to spread on msn sure makes it a nasty one. I have not yet had the chance to personally clean one of these myself (except for Eva's), so I don't know too much yet about its behavior, but from it's petty spam techniques it can be inferred that it isn't too advanced, yet.

Anyone needing help feel free to post here!

thanks DK well not sure if she maanged to get rid of it but shes back on FB and its not amending her status and no more porn vids going up on there, and its not sending any messages out to people, so hopefully the programmes i gave her etc have killed it off. But if she has any more trouble ill get her to join and get your advice etc
