I was downloading via torrents and when open the file it's hijack my laptop it won't reboot I've tried to go in on safe mode to rest all to an early date but just not happening I don't have any antivirus is there any way I can get rid cheers

OUCH! do you have any backup? if you have tried in safe mode and still nothing then sounds like it needs to be reinstalled.
Why did you not have any Antivirus? there are so many free ones best one being Microsoft Essentials.
Have you tried unplugging from the mains and leaveing for a while ( say an hour) then trying. If you can reboot you NEED an antivirus and Antimalware.
If your going to use the likes of torrents then you should have a decent AV set up as these are prone to trojans etc.

Maybe if you can be more specific with what IOS you are running and some other details about your laptop the guys can help you. Have you got a copy of your operating system? What make Laptop do you have as you could try presing on of the F keys - but not sure which one as think it depends on which make model you have. F12 on mine (i think) takes me to recover - worth a try!

unless you can get it to boot i think you are out of luck.no avtivirus at all an torrenting?well i suppose the time to lecture has come and gone.you need to at least get it to boot in safe mode and try to download and run hijack this.also if you can boot to safe mode download and install an antivirus like avira.its free.run it and see what it will pick up.if you can get hijack this to run dont do anything yet, just post a log.i have heard of people booting with linux disks but dont know enough about it.perhaps someone who is more knowledgable can chime in.

Remember the old saying" There are two types of computer user, those who back up and those who dont !",and its quite true.
doesnt help or answer the OP and no one knows IF they backed up or not.
Maybe something a little more contructive might help.
Their question is they have a virus and cant boot so are looking for help/advice not looking for "old true sayings" - one of which ive never heard until now!

Ok fair point just stating the obvious, right what I would do is take the HD out and connect to another PC and run "chkdsk" with the command `/f` i.e `chksk C:/f` this will check the disk for errors and automatically correct them. also as mentioned while the disk is out run a scan with malwarebytes to see if that will kill it.

The fact that it wont reboot, tends to lean me in the direction that you have something else going on aside/besides a virus. A virus that would not let your computer re-boot, would not be a very good virus. Proliferation and infection are what a virus is all about, and its a little hard to spread and accomplish any bad deeds on the host when you cannot even boot the machine.
That is not to say that you don't have a virus, which could be a very distinct possibility with what you have said of your browsing habits. But unless you have the ability to pull the drive as suggested earlier, then the only way forward is to get the machine to boot.
So start by telling us exactly what you mean by not booting? At what point does it stop? What is displaying on your screen? Messages? The more information you provide, the better you can be assisted.
