Ok thanks Willo, I'll stick with vix 5.4 for now then👍All4One isn't going to work unless Wooshman updates it. The plugin isn't open source.
Dsayers picon updater works fine for me.
Thanks Willo, yeh for a mere mortal like myself who doesn't delve too much in to the workings of the firmware it's something of a surprise and no doubt will affect others who like to integrate their iptv with freeview on their boxes. Until authors or providers provide new plugins some of us are as you say stuck with the previous image. It has been well known for a long time that that the latest version of ViX would be python 3.
ATV 6.5 and 7.0 have been running for quite a while on python 3.
The only problem is that certain plugins can't be converted to python 3 without the authors involvement.
The only alternative is going to be to stick with older firmware or use a different plugin.

Connect to the box with putty and login with root and password.Using it on Zgemma H7S and okay but it stopped my Samba from running on it and not fixed it yet.
Thank you for your advice i have installed version 6.0 and Oscam seems quicker but not perfect i cannot see how to to enable softcam script in the setup menuI am using the script method which I find much better than softcam manager.

I don't think there is a python 3 version available. A lot of IPTV providers seem to use apps that are not updated to python 3.Hi there, I am having an issue trying to install Xtremeditor 3.0.9 from an ipk on a fresh build of Vix 6. Firstly, doe XE work on Python 3 and if so what version and if not what can I use for IPTV as my supplier uses it for Engima2 users...........Spevs
