VM - No existing Hardware so No NETID?

Hi All

As the my Zgemma H2s slowly fades to black I will be buying a H5.2TC form the Zgemma site.

I have VM BB and can split the cable and do the flashing no problem, this issue is I have not had a VM TV service for years so not able to provide a NETID..

No neighbours to ask either.. My in laws have a VM TV service but they live around 5 miles away, is it a case of providing any NETID or is specific to my area / Street / AMP...?
 
Area m8. etc...london east..london west..scotland border.. etc..etc.. and you would pick up your area within the image on Autobouquets scanning set-up
 
Their net id could work but if you search the forum there is a page which has the cable net ids on it.

If you can't find your area listed it may be a case of trial and error with the nearest area listed to you but I personally would check to see if your inlaws 1 works first.
 
Just Google virgin media net id and there you will find the full list of all area codes
