Vu Uno ICAM set up guide

Hello, I am in the process of purchasing a Vu Uno. I will be running OpenATV 7.4. Are there any set up guides to get this working with ICAM channels and where is the easiest place to get the ICAM bouquets? Thanks

Openatv is on version 7.6 now so if its an option you might want to update it. Openatv does not come with the softcam feed enabled so you will either have to enable the feed or use an external feed like the linuxsat panel. If you get an ipk for linuxsat panel put it a usb stick and stick it in the machine and use the media scanner plugin to browse the usb stick and install the ipk. Reboot the box after installation. Launch the panel and select softcams. I would intall the oscam levi 45 icam softcam. This will install all the files you need. You will just need to put your server line into oscam.server. In the linuxsat panel you can also download a channel list. Now you may not need to use a icam list as you should be able to select a channel in a normal list then press menu and select play with streamrelay. Especially with uk version. Channel lists like vhannnabal and creif also have icam bouquest for 19.2 within the motorised list.

Uno set up with OpenATV 7.6. Levis Oscam installed and running. I have received server details from a Supplier who has verified they have the iCam channels. When i try to view an Icam channel it takes a few seconds for the SNR to appear from the channel then it stays a black screen. The Supplier says the channels are on the server and opening fine. Any ideas?

Choose a channel on 19.2 then press the up button on the remote to bring up the channel list

press the menu button

go down to play with stream relay and select

Have you enabled Stream Relay ?

If not open your boxes web interface then on the left hand side click on Oscam Webinterface then click on configs enable stream relay save and reboot your box.

I have it enabled already but source stream port says 8001, should this be 17999?

ignore - the Relay port shows 17999

Try stream relay not enabled

And delete the whitelist from /etc/enigma2/whitelist_streamrelay

So many setting you have to chage to get this working, particually if your using old configs.

Oscam version oscam-master also needs downloading from OpenATV server as it installs dependencies .

Check under Menu,Information,System Information to make sure softcsa is active

one thing i have noticed and my Oscam web panel shows a lot of errors, the oscam.server file that is installed when i installed Levis Oscam has a lot of entries for servers. Do i delete all of these and only have the server details i have been supplied? iT HAS been about 10 year since i have dabbled with E2

ok thanks everyone. I will take a look at all the advice and comments and work on this. Appreciate everyones help.

When i put my details in oscam.server I delete all the other information in there.

Just after clarification do all the latest oscam cams (open atv) have softcsa dependecies, or just master ....

Reason I ask is I was using Oscam master (softcsa,) but needed emu for adding Key (feed)...

The icam and softcsa changes are in plain Oscam. The emu edition of Oscam allows usage of keys in addition to what is available in plain Oscam. So, I suppose it's better to install the emu edition as it does more.
