Depends on budget. A good starting box would be a mutant 500C, it's only a single tuner but at £65 delivered you can't go wrong. It supports openvix updates online as well. If money is no object try the mutant 2400HD upto 4 tuners, this box is amazing!!

Can the hd2400 run xbmc I'm wanting one but can't find a definite answer as to if it can properly run xbmc etc cheers

I'm not sure, the box is quick enough to use IPTV player, that's what i use. You could ask on another forum that lists the mutant as there's not much talk of the Mutant 2400 HD on here
(nothing goes wrong with them)lol
