Isn't freely through the internet, IE good for people who have a poor reception?

Freely is is a streaming app with less channels than Freeview. Imho Freely is dreadful and I were you I wouldn't even consider it. It's only available on certain branded TV's.

Freely won’t mess with your Freeview recordings they’ll still work as they always have. The difference is that Freeview comes through an aerial, while Freely runs over the internet, so it’s more like streaming live TV and catch-up in one place.

Freeview is good if you’ve got good aerial reception and like recording shows, Freely is good if your signal isn’t great or you just prefer everything online.

Yes another point is how many people now still have an aerial lots of people who may have had sky installed just relying on satellite dish , not sure about freely recording but with freeview via an aerial you can record multiple channels unlike satellite that depends on how many tuners you have.
