After your very generous donation of £1500 towards my work with the homeless and underprivileged people, I decided to start a thread to document where the money is being spent as I spend it.
This thread will be updated regularly with the different things I do.
Many, many thanks to all who participated in the draws and also those who donated.
Special thanks must go to @Kuul Media for his generous donation of prizes free of charge.

So on Friday, I made up some sandwiches for distribution by the walking team, who interact with homeless people on the City Centre streets at night.

Then today I went out and bought some goodies for the liberty Soup run and the NoBucks Cafe to distribute to those less fortunate than ourselves.
We got some bargains, this little lot only cost €100.

This thread is not here to pat myself on the back, it is merely to keep you guys and girls up to date.

Many thanks again.

So, a little more shopping yesterday,
5 boxes of individually wrapped biscuits, so a handful of biscuits can be given alongside tea or coffee by the walking teams.

Great cause and glad to have been part of raffles you do amazing work along with forum and prize contributers.
We've never doubted or needed proof of what the money has/will be spent on as we've seen from when the generator ect got nicked so fair play to you and all your charity colleagues stay safe

They have to rely on generosity mainly, plus theres a thing called the food cloud - supermarkets give products that are nearing the best before date, the food cloud then distribute the food amongst various charities.

So we (TK). Bought some new 5l flasks for the soup run for when they go out on the streets feeding the homeless and giving out hot drinks.
They're kinda expensive £25 ish, so it was great to buy some backup flasks.

Yeah well done @wheelo its the little things in life that make a massive difference to the less fortunate etc.
Saw a vid on youtube other day about a billionaire who dressed up as a homeless man to see how the public would react to him and most people just ignored he was even there.
One guy decided to stop and gave him some things out of his shopping bag before his long walk home.
The guy said to the man who stopped and said thank you so much and then he revealed who he really was and asked why he had a long walk home so he said to him he had not got a car because he had lost his job and was trying his best to support his family etc and could only spare a few things out of his shopping bag and then the guy wrote out a cheque for $10.000 and gave it him and said i wish there was more people in the world like you and it would be a better place to live in.
