Which Mag box to go for

Hi

ive been looking into the mag box ranges and would like some feedback/opinions on which Mag boxe seems to be the best overall? And why is it better than the others?

if youre intent on using a mag then go for the 254 over the 250, its just a little bit quicker than the 250 but looks and works exactly the same.

as per my pm id go the plex route with a nowtv box, loads cheaper and as good if not better.

hey

it the recording and setting timers functionality of the mag that is kind of veering me towards that route.

With the now tv- plex route would there be things like 7 day epg? Crossepg ?

not many mag servers allow recording to an external usb, though some do have a catchup option on the major channels.

now tv has a basic now and next at maximum ;-)

Oh I didn't know that some servers don't allow recording. Now and next lol reminds me of my skybox f3 and f5 days lol.

i tend to use iptv purely for on demand stuff and live events not available on uk tv, no need for an epg then.

if you want a full singing and dancing epg then best to just use a zgemma ;-)
