Why is sky broadband so brutal

My kodi is through firestick on Wi-Fi. Generally good but anything live like boxing a month back was unwatchable on my sly bb

That stream was severly overloaded
the iptv streams are much much better . Its very good..since signing up i hav.nt bothered with kodi.!

Out of interest which router did you go for to rub your VPN through..and is dw an easier set up than tomato?

Cheers for the responses lads

Best thing to do is get yourselves sorted with a good vpn so sky cannot monitor what you are up to,You can pickup one all setup for you off the bay at around £60 ish

GotnPIA yesterday was only £32 or £35 for the year but yet to get it set up.. need to incorporate it onto the zgemma h2s through the open vpn plugin... not sure how well this works but would save going and buying an extra router.. will test this on my m8s connection once I get it set up..

You might want to check for packets lose
Run a ping test using cmd
Ping www.google.com -t
Give it 5 min and hit ctrl + c
It should give you the stats , if you see any timeout or packet lose then you see your culprit

Sent from my K10000 using Tapatalk
strange one this done it numerous times i always get 4 packets sent 4 recieved 0% packet loss and 10ms ping it never changes

Are you having problems though? as it sounds like your not if your streaming your iptv fine.

Maybe if someone's who's messing about runs this we may find a common denominator

Hi all just wanted to add to the thread,i was having alot of streaming probs with my iptv on my smart tv running it through slybb. After asking about, and a big thx to millerkev for his advice i eventually took the plunge and purchased a flashed router with dd-wrt and purchased a vpn, with purevpn no logs kept and no throttling ur bandwidth,im now watching all fhd channels with hardly any buffering at all now,im guessing you,ll never get a total free buffering service, but im so much happier now
