XLMTV fix for V6/V8

Hi, I'm new at this how would I install the XLMTV to my V8s? Im guessing this is for the EPG to work? Thanks in advance :whacko:

Hi did what it said on the tin (well in the forum) and worked no probs, but after putting new channel list on that was from Cwaites to fix movies not getting the epg list.

Hi mate. Sky premier and a few other movie channels don't show for anyone. Not very good in that way. You can see what's now and next by changing epg back to satellite. .

Worked a treat on my v8s. Cheers for the file and all the posts. I used to hate xmltv but since we had a break from each other ive found a new love for it!

Lost network apps youtube and youporn

Working on my v8s but the network apps have gone, YouTube and youporn. Is there a way I can get them back

Downloaded xmltv, all fine but I have lost the youtube and youporn apps. Is there any way of getting them back?

Download f/w 19-05-2015---format usb key to fat32---add .abs file you downloaded and install on box as image file.Exit when complete, remove key and reboot box.
reformat key and put into box---go to XLMTV app---click open and upgrade epg.
Remember you must leave key in after upgrade.
Reaper.

date =date of last or latest firmware.
Now read thru the posts and forum and you will find all you need.

Make sure under upgrade image it says v6 v8 19/05/15. If not your box isn't reading your flash drive or detecting the firmware on it.

I'm new here. Hello. 👍And I've just bought an Openbox V8 Combo. Should I go ahead and apply the latest firmware as in a V8S?

The update works fine, just remember that the EPG down load is about 4.5G so a usb drive at least this size is required
