Zgemma h.2s noobie

Hi,
im trying to get a usb to work with my zgemma h.2s box.
its formatted but when I put it in the back and restart it says boot for ages and doesn't come back on?
what am I doing wrong?

Hi i have tried several flash sticks micro sd cards and hard drives and have found that some will work and some wont have a kingston 64gb micro sd card that works fine and that seems to happen on my 2s as well.
