What image was on the box before it stopped working?
Have you tried another PSU of the same voltage 12V, but a higher ampage, say 5-6 amps?
The power supplies on these boxes are notorious for failing

Just created the same problem. I was trying to upgrade the image, which I have done many times before, but I am now in the same position of starting the flash, which gets stuck on Red. Any thoughts on what to do would be useful. (P.S.0 I have tried many options of USBs etc.)

Never online update do a fresh clean reflash and reinstall settings. Use the recovery menu and reflash the box with a clean image.

That's what I am trying to do ... It has got into a look that I can't seem to break. It starts flashing then stops.
