Zgemma H2s not connecting to internet

Hi
Can anybody tell me where I can find an early version of openatv,
I bought a box but will not connect to internet.
I cannot send it back as I have tried to put latest version of Wooshbuild
on (thinking if I updated it would sort it out) but it will not carry on as it will not recognise the internet,
I have read a thread on here, that somone had the same problem, and that's
what he had done, but this was over a year ago
If someone can help me with this then I would be most grateful.

Alan

what way is box connected to internet hardwired to router?
have you tried rebooting box and router,off/on?

Hard wired to router
yes with off and on
It's something to do with what has been downloaded in the past.

so if you run a network test you dont get all green ticks suggesting =no connection?
maybe buggy image and will need a reflash with a newer image, old images wont work as with latest audio issues.

I have downloaded wooshbuild7 and still the same.
I wish I had bookedmarked the thread as I cannot find it now.

Go into network settings. (adaptor settings)Turn Use dhcp to no and then enter your own ip thats within your router range. net mask is 255.255.255.0. gateway is your router ip address. press ok to activate.

I suspect you have gateway turned off.
In Adapter settings scroll down to "use a Gateway" and set it to "Yes".
Press OK to activate.

No gateway activated. Also what is your dhcp range of your router. 192.168.11.1 doesn’t seem correct for the box ip.

Fully agree @ASHHBI I think the OP would be better off turning ON DHCP until he is connected and then if he wants to keep the box'es IP static, then switch it off.

If dhcp doesn’t work try this.
Set dhcp to no.
Set these settings
IP address 192.168.1.20
Netmask 255.255.255.0
Use a gateway. Yes
Gateway 192.168.1.1

Press ok to activate

Send us another screen shot after you have activated all the above, please.

@ASHHBI The only problem I have with trying to "Guess" an IP addy for the box is that we have no idea what else may be on his network, hence I advised leaving DHCP on so that a known free addy would be applied.
