im on openATV .oscam web interface I tried to do that with some pdf guide it said this
EXAMPLE: 192.168.0.87:83 (INTO WEB BAR) If not, try; :88 :8888
and none worked

What port have you specified in the .conf file?
What is the box's IP address?

Have you also tried the link to oscam in regular Web interface. It's on the left.

ok I can connect with openwebif to box and select OSCam Webinterface only error in the log is this
2020/06/01 12:30:28 4E5475FB c (dvbapi) ERROR: ioctl(CA_GET_DESCR_INFO): Invalid argument

ok from web browser it wouldn't connect because of the https:// so had to change it to http:// for it to work

Double check the readers are correct. Actually, might be easier if you download the sample configs from Willow's website and edit those to suite.

The OP isn't using ViX is he? There's no oscam-trunk on ViX.

Yes my mistake I was in and out of various threads and the other user was using vix
