zGemma nline setup help

i cant for the life of me find that thread. my box came with all these files in /usr/keys/ once i installed mgcam 1.38:
ignore.list.example
mg_cfg.example
peer.cfg.example
priority.list.example
replace.list.example

so i created a newcamd.list with my nline and and i had no proper mg_cfg so i found one online but guess it doesnt work. can you point me in the right direction to download this file or both the nline and mg_cfg and then i can always edit it with my nline. any help much appreciated.thanks

Look for a thread How to set up E2 combo box with Vix by Bees in the search you will find both files

Hi Guys, I've read hundreds of posts but can't quite crack adding my Cline to my new Zgemma S2 box. I am running sucmnsee's latest openvix image and box is set up properly. Last challenge is getting cline running. When I go into the Softcam/ci menu, Mgcamd1.38 is showing as active. I have ftp'd the box and in the usr/keys directory I have edited the text with my line details but I can't seem to get any channels to clear. My newcamd.list is as follows:

CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300
CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 21000
CWS = ********.******.com 16500 ********** *********** 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 server1

I haven't touched anything other than the ****** characters and the port being 16500. Do I need to amend anything else?

I checked in TSPanel and CCCam was active in there so that has now been disabled.

Would anyone have any ideas on how to get up and running, I thought it would be the easy part.......!

Thanks
Chris

Hi,

I've started off reading this thread to look at setting up a zgemma 2s. Can I ask a basic question though...... I understand setting up the firmware and U/I side, but I don't quite get the part where I aquire all channels, ie, all skys sports, movies, box nation. I was under the impression this was a one off subscription fee for roughly £40/year?? Where abouts does this come into it??

Thanks

£40 a year that's cheap , think you need to a bit more research before you set up your box

Help please. Sorry if this has already been covered. I've searched and read loads but can't find an answer to my problem.

OK to start off with I downloaded and flashed using mt.pockets openatv flash. The instructions were pretty straight forward so kudos to that. Got it all up and running, all channels etc, apart from the epg. So after a bit more digging and reading around here I figured I needed to perform an update. software found 55 updates but it actually installed 59??

So... affter the install I lost my channels apart from fta. spent a bit of time looking for an answer to find none. Reflashed my box and followed mt.pockets instructions up until post 5. I skipped to post 8 and then I updated the 59 updates then continued with the instructions.

Still no channels other than fta. reset box, router, cams etc and I'm stumped. Lines still good on my libertview f5s. Not trying to get both boxes to run at the same time either as server doesn't allow multi.

Any help please? This one has really stumped me. I expect it's something simple I'm missing?

To add it's an nline and that's all I've got which I extracted from my libertview so the line only reads N: ********.******.com 16500 ********** *********** 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 but as it worked before the update it should go back working after the update, If one or two of you kind guys can help me out with it.

Buddy, there have been a few posts about this issue i think - in that you may need to enable diseqc on Tuner A. Give that a try

As I suspected something easy! Thanks for that, all working. I actually enabled diseqc earlier but I guess I never saved that setting as when I went back in there it was on no again, so this time I pressed green and it saved and hey presto!

Hi guys

Maybe you can help and I can't seem to find the answer.

I've set up my ZGemma S2 box using openVix (sucmnsee) and followed the tutorial and everything is grand. However, the crux of it, adding my C line has me totally baffled. Firstly, should I be running the CCcam 2.3 or mgcamd 1.38 (or both)? And then, I've attempted to add my details for the line but completely flummoxed as how to firstly open the newcamnd.list file to add my details (got filezilla working ok, it's just adding the info). Once that's done, how many files should there be in usr/keys because I've currently got 4 (likely because I've done it wrong): CCcam.cfg, mg_cfg, newcamd.list and newcamd.list.txt.

I know this is very simple for many of you but if you could kindly assist me I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Mate are they're not examples of lines in newcamd.list just delete them and copy and paste your connection starting CWS = line
then restart your mgcam, should sort you

If yours is cline it needs to go in ccam.cfg in etc

Then disable mgcamd and start cccam

Ok, thanks guys but stupid Q but how do I know if it's cccam or mgcamd? I was sent a C line if that makes any difference. And so I open the cccam.cfg file in notepad, copy and paste the details I've been given (just leave everything else the same, i.e. don't delete anything?), save it, restart box and make sure the cccam is enabled?
