If you have lines in both place you will cause conflict use 1 or the other and delete other 1

ahaaa! you are a star my friend! Yes, deleted the softcam AND the cccam.cfg and BOOM its working again!!

I had similar problems - I tried to add a new whitelist file to my box and no channels would clear after this seemingly unrelated incident.
So, like the suggestion above I uninstalled the softcam and deleted the ccam.cfg file leaving the newcamd list file alone, but when I went into softcam manager to restart ccam manager 1.38 it said I needed a config file for it to work!
What the ?!

Hi. Wonder if anyone is able to help.

Recently bought a ZGemma Star 2S box. Flashed Vix Hades 014 12/07/15 by sucmncee. Channels all scanned ok, ABM worked, CrossEPG fine. FTA channels working.
Connected via Filezilla, found var/keys folder and entered my nline into newcamd.list. Changed file permissions of the two files in the folder (newcamd.list and mg_cfg) to 755.
However, scrambled channels remain scrambled. MGCamd 1.38 is active but if I go into TSPanel>Softcams it says "no ecm info" (though some people have said that this is not displayed even if it is working!?).

My nline seems to be in the correct format:
CWS = xxxxxxxx.xxxxx.org 28285 login password 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

but as I say channels remain scrambled.

Tearing my hair out trying to get it to work. Hope someone is able to suggest something!

Thanks

I had the EXACT same problem and ended up reflashing the box. Admittedly a bit extreme, but I was going round in circles and from reflashing to happiness it was only 20 mins of my life wasted, compared to good knows how many hours of going nowhere far with solutions that didn't work.

If you do a reflash, try adding the line details manually. If you have a look at the guide I posted yesterday on another thread it explains how to.

I originally tried setting up the nine in the default firmware but wouldn't work so tried the sucmncee vix backup as thought it might be easier with almost everything pre-configured. Got in a bit of a muddle first time I flashed the image so started again and thus is the second attempt at configuring the sucmncee backup.

Might try another image then - any recommendations?

Thanks

Flashed the mtpockets image, used Filezilla to edit the cccam.cfg file with the exact same details as used in the sucmncee/mgcamd image (apart from N: instead of CWS = ) and it worked first time - all channels open!!
No idea what the problem was with the other setup but happy chappy now. Cheers for the image suggestion.

Morning everyone,

I am absolutely tearing my hair out hear trying to get my N-line to work in this box.

It arrived yesterday and so far all I am getting is blank screens when I go to subscription channels such as S*y sports.

I have been through this thread and tried everything mentioned.

Used both of sucmnsee's files from the start of the post and exchanged my line details with the relevant bits in the newcamd.list file. Made sure I took out the N: and put the rest after the CWS = . I have tried this using both mgcamd.1.38 and 1.35a.

When using this method the CCcam details are not available in the softcam/CI menu.

I have also tried putting the CCcam.cfg file that was attached to the email with the line details directly into the etc folder and this shows me the details in the softcam/CI menu although a lot of this seems to be blank when I look at them. Is there anything in my line that needs to be modified for this version?

I have done all the setting up of EPG, Autobouquets etc. anyone got anymore ideas?

Thanks

HI johnnyc91 when you transfer line don't copy and paste. Just open the zgemma CCcam.Cfg and edit it with your line. If you have been messing around. I found it better to re-flash and start a fresh. Make sure that the line is also activate. Hope this helps.

Ok I sorted it out.

Turns out the line I was trying to put in was offline. Spent 6 hours trying to get it to work before I checked my other box and noticed it was actually running from an older line.

Thanks anyway.

im having trouble with the zgemma star 2s box iv got the newcamd.list and mg.cfg files iv put them on the box using filezilla putting both files in keys ...
on the box iv selected mgcamd from softcam set up , re-scanned the channels , done auto bouquets rebooted box but still nothing :(

I'm using mgcamd 1.38 and its active in softcam/ci and working fine, had a look in ts panal and I have it in there too but it's red. Does it need to be in ts panal as well and if not is there anyway of deleting it without also deleting it in softcam/ci? Don't want to remove it from ts panal and it removes it from both.
Thanks in advance
