No RoI region for sat is my oversight and needs fixing. Select any region and come back here so we can help you if needed to setup Sat for RoI. From what I know there is nothing left on Sat for RoI though. I could be wrong.

Sat situation is the same as your own, HOWEVER, VM lines for ROI are as rare as rocking horse poop.
I have my sat set as Granada , but i can choose any region.

If youmare talking about irish channels - no RTE, TG4, TV3, nor anything left (i couldnt see who you were answering lol)
 
tremendous build Wooshman!
Been using Sucmnsee Vix for 3 years or so and was long overdue a change. Got my Zgemma star H2 flashed and ready to go but i'm struggling
to get my line going. i'm going very wrong somewhere.

i've been using file zilla and also trying all the soft cam options but still no joy.

my line normally looks something like this;

CWS = bw.vvvvvvvvv.online 80000 BarryWilson MlS6CFC8l3 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

what softcam should i run it through? And if i need to edit the line what should it look like?

been at this for more hours than i'd care to admit at this point.

any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

I hope that's not your real line :(y):

When you put the line in, it gets pasted into newcamd.list which is in the usr/keys folder
once it's in, you go to softcam panel and get mgcamd1.38 showing in 'active cam', then click the green button to restart the cam

you shouldn't edit the line at all, paste it in as it was sent to you by your provider
 
how long have you had the line?
is there a chance it's expired?
if mcgamd is installed already and the line's not working it looks like either the line has expired or the softcam could be a duffer

Line still has 3 months left and was working earlier on before i foolishly started meddling about! I've probably changed something i shouldn't have.....again. might just revisit this again tomorrow. re install again afresh. thanks for the tips

it,s been a couple of years since i dabbled in the sat game.just got an urge to give it a go again.
so forgive me as im a little rusty and things have changed somewhat since i have been away from the game.
have a Vu uno 4k,and have a working iptv line.(i managed to get it to work on an old vu zero box using extream plugin)
i have infinity installed on the box and downloaded the xtream plugin (arm based one),when i tried to install the line into the plugin it tells me to contact my supplier (or something like that),i contacted him and he maintains his side is ok and the file he sent me for the vu 4k is the correct file (arm based).
hope this all makes sense.
is the procedure im using ok or am i doing something wrong (i must be wrong) other wise it should work.
flashing the box was very simple (hat,s of to the developers).any help to get this working would be very greatfull.
of to work now will check back when i get home,tks guys.

i think you just need the normal extreme editor which is in system plugins at the bottom of the list install it and send the code to your supplier
 
@ macrosse.i tried what you said m8 but had no luck,i rang a m8 who is on the same server as me and he said his server is off since last night and no one can get in touch with him..( have got a test from different server ).
this guy gave me 2 coded lines.
1/ arm
2/ mips
he told me to telnet the line.but when i telnet the line i get this message....(no such file or directory)....
any ideas anyone.
i just finished installing the mips line into a vu zero (vix,s image) and its working.
but i still cannot get the arm based file to work on the vu uno 4k.

Hi,
New to this game, think I £ucked up.

Tried to Install Wooshbuild Infinity to a Tiviar Alpha+, on OpenATV 6.1 using a wireless dongle.
The box is new and I started the install once I got the wireless set up - i.e. no additional plugins, etc.
The internet was working as I verified the settings and used the terminal to start the WI install.

Anyway, the install started and the box then hung with the Wooshbuild Infinity logo on the screen. On the terminal screen it mentioned something about looking for an older package and then stuck on "Configuring enigma2-plugin-extensions-wbi-easy-setup".

After about 30 min I gave up and restarted the box, it was stuck on the WooshBuild infinity screen, and I could no longer access the IP address from my pc. I tried to restore from the backup I took before the WI install, but it just shows the WI screen on the telly and cycles thru a small set of numbers on the box screen.
(When trying to restore the backup I tried front and back usb ports and hit the front power button when requested. The message on the box screen then reads "Run Alpha+", followed by booting then a series of two digit numbers starting at -00- and reaching -97- before recycling.)

I then tried connecting the box directly to my router, via cable - no change.

Looking for any suggestions as to what else I could try.

you must have done summet wrong flash open atv again and when it gets to the part were you have to use remote to setup hdmi on your tv screen don't do anything go to your computer laptop or tablet and type the ip address of your box in your browser right at the top of page on computer then enter and web if will pop up then go to first page on this thread and click link for wi and start from 1

That's my problem, I cant reflash my backup, or an alternative backup that definitively good. It stays on the wooshbuild Infinity permanent loop. I can see that the box is connected to my wifi router, but it refuses my connection.
 
your better setting box up first with wired connection and what do you mean you cant reflash just put latest open atv on a usb stick turn box off put usb in turn back on and flash with my zgemma when I turn it back on I have to press start button on front of box then it will say flash

That's exactly what im saying, ive tried doing a reflash with four different usb drives, see my first post, and it still just shows the WI screen! No matter what I try I still get "Run Alpha+", followed by booting then a series of two digit numbers starting at -00- and reaching -97- before recycling. At no stage does it say "flash".
I can see that the box connects to the router as Alpha+ during the sequencing, so its not completely dead, but it refuses my connection when I try to logon.

Anyway, have to leave it for now, must go to work.
