Ibox 2 plus bricked?

Hi everyone.

I have a 2 plus box, when i switch on the sky hd screen comes on and then just freezes it will not boot up. The box is around 2 years old, tried reflashing but having no luck

The most common problem with the ibox when your trying to reflash the box is the use a good usb stick such as a sandisk or kingston,a lot of the cheap sticks wont work

Also u can try putting in the usb and repeatedly trying to flash. Ie. On for 10 secs. If no flash off and straight back on for 10 secs etc. Weird but works sometimes.
If still no joy download hddguru on pc and untick quick and format with it. Then in windows again untick quick and format

Sorted it guys. It was the bloody usb sticks I've been using over the weekend - 3 in total and none of them worked. Bought a Sandisk cruzer facet 8gb, worked first time. Thanks for the help
