Movie Organisor plugin - organise your series recordings into folders

Hi Grog,
Should the plugin work on downloaded files too or just recorded ones?

It works with downloaded files, I've got multiple episodes of The Mentalist downloaded from IPTV player and they've been grouped into one folder:-

Those that have updated in past 24 hours I apologise.

Until now when you updated it just replaced the plugin files directly, this weekend I tried making changes so it upgraded via an IPK but this didn't work as expected to I have reverted back to how it was tonight.

If you've got version 2.07 it's exactly the same as 2.05 but when trying to update in future it will try updating via ipk which fails, so you might have to remove it via the opkg command via telnet and then reinstall from the IPK on the first page of this thread.

Sorry for the invconvenience, teach me to break something that aint broke :)

Hi,

Thanks for the reply Greg. Instead of going through the process, am I ok to carry on using version 2 if it's still working OK?

Thanks.

Yes,

If the littlie fixes mentioned a few days ago, don't effect you then there is no need to update, version 2 is perfectly fine

is there a link to latest version, checked ipk on first page and says 2.00, updating via box gives me blue screen then reboots

OK there has been a bug found in the latest 2.05 - 2.07 versions of the plugin. So I have released 2.08 and there is a link to the ipk on the first post of this thread.

When I added 12 hour and 24 hour options to the plugin wasn't working as should for the 2 new options so I changed the code and this appeared to work as the next run time was set correctly, but for some reason when the plugin ran just after midnight it crashed and the gui would restart. Why I (a python novice) don't know so I have had to revert back to the original code for setting the next run time of the plugin, this also means I have had to remove the 12 and 24 hour options from the setting page.

Still getting v2.00 on the link.

Out of interest, is there a py file in the plugin folder on your box? If so remove it and try again. py files are treated with priority in python so each time the gui starts python uses the py file to generate the pyo file.

Hi 2.08 doesn't have run every 12 or 24 hr ?

might help if you read all the posts - specifically this one.
