Hi There,

I hope you can help me, I have changed the battery in my Primera P10 and the stereo is asking for the code however I don't have it written anywhere.

The serial is BP6350W9337282, it is a Blaupunkt unit, the part number is 7 646 350 318

Thanks in advance!

Stanky

your code is 5068
but this model is also IMMO coded which means it will only work if in original car

Thanks, is there any way to override IMMO code? Or have I just bought a paperweight? :)

first off have you tried the code (just in case I'm wrong about IMMO)

IMMO can be removed by altering EEPROM dump file but to get this file is a specialists job

If I'm right that it is IMMO coded your best bet would be to seek the help of a local radio decoder

Thanks Aloysius,

I have fitted the unit and it is getting power. when the ignition is in the 'off' position the red 'Code' LED flashes. When I turn the ignition on and turn the on/volume knob a single '-' appears just to the right of the centre of the LCD display, and it illuminates (a bit).

Leaving the ignition in the 'on position and the head unit turned on, eventually two more '-' hyphens appear on the LCD screen. However I do not seem to be able to enter the code. I isn't clear whether the LCD screen is broken, or if this is normal behaviour for a unit which is IMMO coded to another car. I have pressed the up/down and left/right buttons as well as all of the preset radio station buttons to see if the hyphens go away - the logic being that if the LCD screen has failed and it is accepting inputs then if I am cycling through numbers 0-9 then a '1' for example would not include a horizontal dash.

The unit was removed from a P10 primera and I have fitted it to my N15 almera, the wiring harnesses are the same, though I have needed to use an adaptor for the aerial input to change it from the 'needle type' to the 'popper type'

Thanks

I don't know much about your radio but it looks like its IMMO coded

have a look here
Code:

and here

Thanks for confirming,

The dashes which are displayed are roughly aligned with the dashes at the bottom of the zeroes on that picture. I think I'll be buying a different unit I've been offered, a Clarion PN-9484L from a Nissan Sunny which does not require a code according to the seller. I can see from their photos that the display function correctly, so even if it does need a code it should be straightforward to enter.

Can you see whether these are likely to be coded to an ECU as well, or do you need a serial number to check this for certain? I believe it is of early 90s vintage.

to be honest I don't know for definite
Here leaves the code box empty suggesting no code
Code:

My radio says wait 1 hr but does not work

Hi Aloy,

The "wait 1h" message on my radio is not budging. I waited for over an hour and it does not let me put the code in. I waited for a few days and still the same.

How can i reset it?

Thanks

only other way is to alter EEPROM dump file but to get this file is a specialists job

for wait
you must leave radio powered on until it allows you to enter code
