Radio Code for Nissan Micra 2003 Please

Hi,

I've got a replacement Radio/Cassette from a 1995 Almera - Identical to the car I've got. The unit is a Clarion PN-9939U, part number 286-8495-10. The number stamped on the side is CL025710030904. There is no other obvious serial numbers on the unit, are you able to help me get the code? I have the reg of the car the unit was originally fitted to, if that helps?

thanks

Hi

I've got a 1997 1.0 Micra, it says SECURE in the display, does this mean it has locked ???, if not I am looking for the code, BP6340V3595831, SN 7646340318

Thanks in advance (y)

ok, I'll have to be extra careful when inputting, thanks for your help, much appreciated (y)

Blaupunkt have been known to not conform to normal algo before so you could try Fiat algo of 5122 but code should be as given 5368

also check that the serial stamped on the radio casing is the same as on sticker

if none is different and you are entering code correctly then your radio has probably been recoded in the past and the only way to get code would be to read EEPROM but this is a specialists job

It worked, code 5368, the display is dodgy and I was putting the first number in wrong, I thought it started at 1 but evidently it starts at zero, Doh !!!!!!!!!, thanks both of you for all your help, keep up the good work (y)

Hi,

Code problems here too.

almera S 2002

radio serial number CL052920071666

thanks in advance

Hello,

Your radio is made by CLARION and the only CLARION code that can be calculated (using a serial number ) anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C 7000000 on a separate label somewhere on the metal casing.
(Note ...not beginning with CL.)

If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM) inside your radio.
