Build info:

This is just a build for watching and recording tv no thrills or spills.
Kiddac's Blue HD2 Beta skin
A/V setting mode 1080i
Vix spinner removed and Homer spinner installed
add what plugins/softcams or skins as you like.

ZGEMMA DISHCABLE'S SETTUP

plug one dish cable into tuner A. and the second cable into B.
or
plug single cable in to A. turn B off.
setup,service searching,Tuner configuration,
set Tuner B: not configured.



FLASHING THE ZGEMMA

1,Download Fast n Loud build software from the link.
2, Unzip it and copy the Zgemma folder to a fat32 formatted USB Drive.
3, Plug the USB to the back panel USB port.
4, Power on,
5, Then the display shows: View attachment 14195
6, power off, reboot.


ZGEMMA S2 SETTUP

ADDING A BIGGER USB DRIVE TO THE BOX FOR RECORDING
initialise your drive or AFTER FLASH (make sure zgemma folder is not on usb)
Insert usb in back
Turn on
Menu
Setup
System
Storage devices
Initialisation (select ur usb/hdd)
Initialise with red button.

Mount manager (make sure mount is to hdd and format ext4)

SWAPFILE SETUP

Make sure its created, enable at startup and active- or see setup thread.

FXP N-LINE

flashfxp setup on your pc
zgemma connected to router
we are using MGcamd 1.38, you will need to add your new N.line in the newcamd.list
ok lets get the box ip, menu,setup,system,network,FTPsetup(running)good.. now device setup, adapter settings.
here you can see the ip address. (my one is 192.168.1.93)and user interface is yes and use DHCP yes. network test all good.
so run fxp client connect, add ip, user:root password,root port,21

EDIT AND SAVE FILE

go to /usr/keys/
right click on the newcamd.list and edit.
so it looks like this.

save logout

there is a small bug setting tweak you will need to do.
menu/system/epg/cross epg/opentv providers and make sure sly uk is ticked.

No Asian category in the favourite list..and there are no asian chennels either as it switch from something like chennel 400 to chennel 900, I am switching back to sucmnsee version..

@msahmed107 I have edit the channels hide in autobouquets maker. so you will see the channels you like now

@thomas88 thank you for the reply mate...i dont know how to unhide chennels in autobouquets maker, please pass on instruction and i will definitly give it a go.
Another problem that I found was I was unable to change chennels by putting their numbers in, like if i put 378 in, it wont change it to this chennel and i have to press fav then go into the category say, music, and then press ok twice to get it full screen...please comment on that too....i hope you understood what i meant, i will try to post some pictures too later when i will get home, if someone fancies it...
 
@ msahmed107 redownload the build as its now set to how you need it for your channels. as for the channel numbers its set so you just press 1 for bbc1 not 101. hope this helps.

@ thomas88...thank you very much mate...I will try these settings out tonite...the package is very fast and the instructions are very detailed with the pictures...i found no problem setting it up according to your instructions and i only bought the box three days ago..:)

For channel number issue press down to bring epg then menu, setting's change alternative numbering to no green to save you may need to restart box.
 
@ thomas88 @ dsayers2014 Thank you very much for your help. The Image is excellent and very quick..All working just fine....chennel list is now setup and the number are same as on sky...
 
just installed this release, and wow best I have used so far on my Zgemma, thanks and a big well done thomas88 keep up the good work!
 
@dsayers2014 thank you very much...i followed your instructions and now i can change the channels the same way sky boxes does...
 
The download gets so far before failing - network error. Any other links?

thanks , downloaded ok on 4g network rather than wifi.

Why do we need to do the swap file creation? Should I create to usb stick or usb hdd?
