What's new

Anyone yet indirectly affected by the Corona outbreak?

Yep Ireland are not messing around. They are taking swift action.

This clown and this government dont want to lose money thats most important for them, whether people die or not makes no difference. Should be taking same actions as Ireland and other countries in Europe.

Guess when things get much worse then we will hear all the excuses coming out.
Why do you think it's Borris, the Cobra meeting included cheif medical and science officers who explain in very simple terms why the decisions have been made.

Look at China, had to build emergency hospitals to cope after shuttting cities down.

Look at Italy, quarantined the north of the country and that didn't work so now quarantined whole country and their health service can't cope with it.

Looking at the above, please explain how shutting things down are helping the situation?

You don't like Borris, that's fine, but listen to the medical and science experts that are directing the way the country is heading

One thing that may get overlooked is super markets running out of food and the usual not sold or use by date food that was donated to the cloud may now dry up and the helpless and the homeless may not be supported because of this.Volunteers who cook the food may have a smaller choice.

Also the volunteers may not even want to risk helping out, especially as generally those volunteering at food banks etc are retired.
