I think you can as I have an arm box on openatv 6.4 and have mgcamd in the feeds.
I manually installed the feed from here

Mgcamd 1.45 is whats needed.

What I am saying is that if you use oscam it should work without using mgcamd. He's telling me to use mgcamd when I was using oscam. It doesn't make sense does it.

Only ever had the starview 1 and applied the fix and moved to better boxes.

That's not mgcamd 1.45 I have 1.35 for arm vix and it doesn't have the patch needed to fix the issue
