I'm thinking of getting a motorized satelite due to the various biss feeds that broadcast in english in those satelites. I was just wondering whether i would get good signal quality and the size of dish that is required.
thanks

For good s.n.r and to allow for rain margin
I WOULD use 100cm satellite dish
and tacnomate 2600 satellite motor

Better add a location as its big out there.

+ can your box use Biss?

+ sort of costing on job between a wave frontier and motorised??

Location Bolton , yes I’ve used Biss on 28.2e on my vu ultimo today. It worked perfectly.

I’d rather have motorized as that picks up more Sats if I’m correct

Is Satellite dying or is IPTV new kid on the block ?

I hope not used to Love watching EPL on Top Channel @16e also Art Sports on 13e

1.1 traix satellite dish will pick up all
of the Transponders across Europe
Providing you have a clear line of sight
to the south You could scan in about
14000 channels This includes radio channels Lot of channels have no
English audio Plenty of good sports channels

I had 1.1 traix Dish tacnomate 2600 super satellite motor and v box positioner
Then went back to multisat Going to install
My motorisied system again

Like Doc Browqn in Back to the future used spend many clear night setting up my dish in the dark & clear freezing nights with the Mrs shouting at the back door
" What you doing out there "

Just an experiment i replied lol

Not many installers want to install a motorised system as its too time consuming, if you do manage to find one, then they will probaly charge a fortune, better to do it as a D.I.Y job and get some help from this forum.

Good installer should be knowledge
Of all satellite systems If you are decent
with heights and have a ladder ,Have a try
Yourself Its not rock science

Plenty of Youtubre videos to help you along the way,
Start by mounting your dish at due South 1 west and it you can move dish 45degrees left of 1 west & 45degrees right of 1West you halfway there
