The bookies hate paying out anything to anyone. I know people who have had a winning wager and then been told to take their business elsewhere.Ladbrokes & Coral have introduced affordability checks despite the regulator saying be some time before they have considered the 13,000 response.
Can kiss goodbye to betting online for plenty of people if you basically spends a penny over £100 a month you will have to pass over all your tax details your mortgage bank details etc even if you place a £10 a bet and win £101 and lose that £101 you will have to prove you can afford to gamble more.
Heard plenty of people losing account recently one even when they only bet £10 a week so (£40 a month) and they have plenty of income but still wasn’t enough to satisfy the bookies.
All for checks to help people but these bookies making them up as they go along and want every documents about you is wrong.
The bookies want punters to bet on things that you have very limited chances of winning however I know of someone who won a massive sum on virtual horses and another who scooped a massive lucky 15 and a final one who won six figures on a numbers game. The bookies were absolutely gutted as those payouts wiped out the years profits big time.
It's laughable when the news repoprt that on grand national day the bookies have lost a load because a fancied horse has won.
That's just 1 of 365 days in the year, they don't tell you about the other 300+ days when they win consistently. It's all about greed.
