Zgemma H9S SE - ftp access and OpenVPN setup

Hello all

I've been getting the new H9S SE and having trouble setting up the vpn. I have been given a .ovpn file from my service provider.
Anyone know what I need to do with it? I'm guessing I have to drop it into the etc/openvpn folder although I can't access the box with any ftp client as it seems to be password protected....as leaving password bit blank didn't work and inserting "root" "password" and even read some the the password was something like "pure2" but that didn't work either.

Any help please?

All new images now you have to setup a password on box first
Checked on my H7s it is in NETWORK
When setting up a password write it down or you will forget.

Now when using ftp you need to also add your password to access box.

I have not setup a vpn so unsure with that.

So unless I get the password from the manufacturer or person that put the image on, I'll have to reflash it and insert my own password?

I seen the latest image on a website, dated today, but no instructions for installing it. When I unzipped it it still had a further zip file inside 🤯

No you have to set up the password yourself.
OpenATV:
Menu > Setup > System > Network > Password Setup

OpenViX:
Menu > Setup > Network > Password

Ah ok thanks, not sure I seen that option earlier. I'll have another look

Older box and images did not need a password but things change with new stuff.

Dont worry your not the first or last to miss the headline news. (y) (y)
