Did you do a clean install ie not keeping anything from the previous installation?
Clean reinstall

Would anybody be able to let me know what is this from the logs? I turned the box off in deep standby before 23:00:

Code:
23:25:57.7511 [ ] dvb/dvb.cpp:1938 pvrEvent [eDVBChannel] End of file!
23:25:57.7526 [ ] service/servicedvb.cpp:1747 timeshift [eDVBServicePlay] timeshift
23:25:58.7511 [ ] dvb/filepush.cpp:176 thread [eFilePushThread] wait for driver eof ok
23:25:58.7512 [ ] dvb/filepush.cpp:198 thread [eFilePushThread] reached EOF, but we are in stream mode. delaying 1

The same command went on until 23:30 and resumed at 7:30 despite seeing the box turning itself on at 7:00

Code:
23:30:07.8045 [ ] dvb/dvb.cpp:1938 pvrEvent [eDVBChannel] End of file!
23:30:07.8061 [ ] service/servicedvb.cpp:1747 timeshift [eDVBServicePlay] timeshift
07:31:58.5665 [ ] dvb/filepush.cpp:176 thread [eFilePushThread] wait for driver eof ok
07:31:58.5666 [ ] dvb/filepush.cpp:198 thread [eFilePushThread] reached EOF, but we are in stream mode. delaying 1

I had similar goings on with my zgemma h2h using grogs build.
It would randomly power up and switch the TV on at 6am, waking the whole house up.
I had to disable the hdmi-cec to stop it from turning the TV on.

That's the first thing I did, funnily enough my TV doesn't turn on anyway, it's just the box

Can your vix build be put on an old Zgemma h2h?
I did try a couple of weeks ago but it kept saying kernel failed or something like that 😂
Why dont you follow the instructions on his build page. Get a decent sandisk usb 8/16 GB to mount in the box and yes it will work on the h2h

You need this code for the H2H:

Code:
wget --no-check-certificate -O install_h3.sh http://www.willobuild.xyz/files/Scripts/install_h3.sh && bash install_h3.sh

No need for the attitude.
I did follow the instructions and used a SanDisk 16gb.
Don't even know why I'm bothering replying to this to be honest 🙄

Is epgimporter set to download EPG data at 7AM?
Or autobouqutmaker set to scan for channels at that time?

So I am a bit ashamed, because you got it right the first time. I was looking at the IPTV ABM but I wasn't aware that there is a separate ABM for the sat (not visible in the plugin section)... so sorry guys for dragging this so long, I finally found the culprit. A bit amazed that I never had this issue and only emerged after re-flashing the box.. ah well :flushed:
