Premier League Discussion

It's not many seasons ago I was looking to see who was worse than us! To see if we would stay up! Not far from that at the moment! Need some injured players back

Ye Injuries have caused issues for sure and maybe few fresh players in January could change things up also.

I cant see Leicester finishing in top 8 personally but no way will they go down. I wouldnt want them to either as they are a great club with way they are run and good football they play also. League needs a team like that.

Said many teams even though Villa is number 1 team I support in Midlands lol. I want all Midland teams to do well no matter what league they are playing in be it premier league or any other.

The teams who have already missed games will struggle to catch up as it is because of the difficulty with rescheduling already. A complete suspension of the next rounds would have only made that problem worse.

At a rough estimate about 90% of players are not vaccinated so no wonder why it's spreading through teams like wild fires

So its working then?, just goes to show, no matter how quick he is, you still need that bit of productivity at the end, the odd goal, a few assists here and there, he hasnt really kicked on from a few seasons ago. then again, theres a lot of players not doing aswell this season as last or previous seasons, like Soucek at the hammers, hasnt really hit the heights so far, but then again, might have expected too much from him, after his first season in claret and blue, then look at Harry Kane, who would have thought at the start of the season, that well into December, he would only be sitting on 2 premier league goals, the list is pretty long this season on players not living up to their potential.

Yesterday late kick off must say was a really enjoyable game. Spurs had some great chances and should have buried them. Sure they feel like the draw is more of a loss.

Thats 10 of the 11 Chelsea players we've been garbage past few week but the Saturday evening our request for game to be postponed was turned down by the premier league

Top of the league and now they sit third.

Think top 3 positions will change more frequently with the teams likely not having their first team starters at hand to pick from

Didnt make sense, after calling off the 3pm games, then Leeds v Arsenal was played despite Leeds having a few first team players out and a bench made up from young unexperienced players, the scottish leagues seem to have the stance, if you have enough fit players, then you must play, Dundee Utd had 7 first team players out of saturdays game against Rangers, but had to play, no matches were called off at all in Scotland, Plenty of big name players were missing from European teams all over the various Euro leagues, but no postponments, then again the president of UEFA has called on all players to be vaccinated, be interesting to see if all 4 games in the league cup go ahead this week, and how many boxing day games will bite the dust.

Doubt those players will even get there vaccine either. How this plays out with potential mandatory vaccines for players which I think will be surprised to see.

If you have fit enough players. Be it from reserves or youth team even if some of the first team are hit matches should go ahead.

I'm glad they are scrapping the FA Cup replays because of congestion. Hope common sense prevails and they make it a 1 legged tie for the league Cup.

Apparently if teams can manage a goalie + 13 other players, matches will go ahead. However the rumours of post-Xmas restrictions might mean the week 20 fixtures are behind closed doors. Which would suck for me because I have a ticket for Leeds v Villa.
