So let me get this right. It's feasible to test hundreds of thousands of people daily, for a virus a lot don't even know they have with a 99% survival rate but it's not feasible to test Doctor's/Nurses/Carers wanting to continue on in a profession that's taken years to train for? Cost the Government a fortune in grants for these people. These amount to 3.4 million, not 60 million like you stated? A profession we already have a massive shortage of with operations backed up for 5 - 10 years which you previously stated. Imagine what losing these people will go on to create.

Doctors and Nurses haven't paid for these type of tests to get out of vaccinations they haven't wanted to take for decades. It's nothing new. Why do they have to pay for it now?

He stated the care profession would have to have a vaccine every month to have the same antibodies as someone that has contracted it. 12 vaccines a year.
i say let the healthy people get Omicron and build immunity. Vaccinate only the vulnerable.
If they don't want the vaccine it doesn't matter what is cheaper. If the Gov made everyone do things to save money, we wouldn't be living in a democracy.
it's cheaper and quicker to not treat obese people/smokers or type 2 diabetics for the NHS. That doesn't mean we should do it.

You didn't get it right, an lft or PCR test isn't the same as an antibody test, antibody test takes more time, more expertise and more money.
60 million is the public, not the NHS.

It appears to be more mild than delta. But saying something is mild compared to something many times more deadly than flu isnt saying much at all

Vax and booster uptake amongst the vulnerable is high in the UK, which is why we haven't seen the numbers of ICU and deadly cases in previous waves - these work. Provably so.

An anti bodies test is no different to a blood test. They screen your blood for anti bodies against specific viruses. I was asked myself if I wanted one after recovering from Covid. it's not as bigger deal as you make it out to be.

Out of those people, you and the media have stated a majority are already vaccinated. So if 90% of NHS staff are vaccinated. Why are you suggesting we need to test 60 million to keep those who don't want a vaccine, in a much needed profession?
