Who ever installed the satellite dish had it face on then realised there was no line off sight so fitted a side bracket hence forth the big loop off cable

It was sky who fitted the dish last year he did say you might struggle with a signal so he put the dish as high as he could to avoid the trees blocking it the pole mount was already on the house when we moved in probably because of the same reason with the trees.

Try installing a bigger dish, probably a 1m might be a bit overkill but should help signal

You need the gtmedia v8 uhd to open uk channels

I could possibly change the lnb myself as long as i take my time’ I really want to get a gtmedia v8 uhd now but known my luck I’ll probably get one all setup for them to be blocked/stopped

Its a gamble but it could still be working in a years time.

Do not run Iptv on that box the streams can be accessed by the Gt box developers and restreamed banning your line. Get a fire stick instead for Iptv.
