hi everyone.
I don't know if this is a sign for the near future for wigan area (wn1), grouped with preston but have had a nice shiny V+ box fitted a few days ago and it has brand new n3 card, this killed my other "proper" box some how and VM have had to come out and replace that box and link it with new N3 card. all I can think is they are coming to my area sooon!!:gah:

my nephew Lives in liverpool l13 area..
He had new v/m hd box fitted a few months ago , recieved new card this week was given two days to insert the new card. he left it as i asked him to then they shut down his box. After phoning them he then inserted new card, which was about three days later this came back on. now his combi isn,t working. Don,t know if this went off with the new hd box , he didn;t look. Anyone else tried to ignore new card to see if s/v box stays on.
"SORRY " previous info incorrect he had a fault in his cable link from v/m to upstairs combi.
the cable is now fixed and the combi is working fully as before new card was inserted.
he is now up and running with the hd basic with v/m, full set up with s/v combi.

yes if you dont insert your new vm card it doesnt make any difference your s/v and others will all stop working. I know when we got ours we had a time limit to insert the new card b4 the old vm box stopped working - which is when they switched over for my road.
Not sure on the combos - youll need to read threads in that section. But once people have new card thats it everything stops!

All of the best channels are now gone in Glasgow South, however friends in West Glasgow still have everything, there is no justice:whacko:
Got my N3 card tue last wk, liverpool 15 area.
Any idea how long before channels start going off?
Thanks Gazzsk a few of my freinds have started to lose channels over the last wk liverpool 15 area, i now have a legit V+BOX they are very good.
But my brother who also lives in the liverpool15 area still has a pirate box. (But not for much longer the way its going) nothing lasts forever.
We had a good run so cant complain about it.
