I tried but really had no clue what I was doing :)

tbh then your not going to be able to add a new line IF it was required if you can go into the servers settings to check the old ones, the link on PM told you how
youd have same trouble if it was just a channel list update get the brother inl-aw to sort be best then

as Bannatyne would say IM OOT !

I do think this issue seems to be a lot more emotive than it should be. Yes it's gone off but by the sounds of it it doesn't seem intentional, he is updating his site with news and the email situation, though somewhat inept perhaps, it doesn't scream malicious. Naming on a public forum after a couple of days of no service seems a little poor in my opinion, imagine if the providers started naming all those they suspect of using these things. Perhaps naming and shaming in a PM to a mod to make sure they don't just keep selling something new would be okay but not in this manner. I understand people are frustrated with all this but it's only been a couple of days so sit tight and hope for the best or find another provider.

Yep I'm down too.
Done the port0.org on 2 skyboxes and all was fine. Now scrambled again.
4 lines I've got from this server. And all are only a couple of months old.
What to do? Another 4 lines from somewhere else and then a fix or even better, the server opens new communication and we all get our sub's/lines re installed???
In limbo here, with no info from line supplier. Thanks to all on the forum who are trying as much as they possibly can to help everyone affected by this.

This is a full blown crisis now - I can't even seem to find a test line that works now, tried three different ones over the past few days!

I don't mind paying for another years subs while my original provider sorts everything out but can't find any that work :S

if his dyns was banned aka the small url that points to his server then it wont work. you then need the ip of server and put in line

the company's site is called dyndns is a site loads use to make a cool name (dns site( and point it to their server. the server is hosted on vps ect or at home and dont want the end user to not know the ip. (you can anyway by dns name)

so the company removed their cool name and account and the daisy chain link is broken

your box--dns name via a site--server

this happened last year with the no-ip site as well

if you cant make contact with him who has gone then move on. as YOU have to edit your cccam ect to get working again. HE cant do nothing with old link if was removed by dynds as cant make the same dns under a new account and if emails bouncing back, sounds like a runner
