hi guys is anyone else having an issue trying to run mgcamd with a newcamd.list file it works fine on ccam but wont clear channels on newcamd setup?
 
I had a line like that, there was no reason at all why it wouldn't work, but once changed to N: and used cccam it was fine. Not a solution, just a confirmation.
 
thanks mate, i done that converted to n and used cccam all channels are clearing fine, i get the odd glitch,just been reading newcamd is more stable, cccam seems fine so far anyways cheers woosh
 
Cheers Wooshman, absolutely brilliant walk through. Only thing I had to do different was to reboot my cam to get it clearing.

First of all many thanks for a great image. I have followed your instruction and installed my line using the bat. file. However I have tried to place the line on my second Zgemma and it just comes up as 'invalid command'. I can install the line using a different image however I yours is so much better than the others and I would like to have the same image on both boxes. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

What actually comes up as an invalid command?

I presume they are both 2S boxes? If so, are they both plugged in at the same time? The reason I ask is because the bat file uses the name of the box to ftp the files across vs the ip address. Now I don't actually know what windows does when it see's two computer names the same, so it is possible the bat file no longer knows what to do?!

You can always edit the batch file and where it reads "open zgemmas2s" and change it to "open 192.168.x.x" or whatever the IP address of the box is. Save the file and try again.

If you have any other info which may help just shout.

Are you saying that both boxes need to be plugged in at the same time or one at a time. I have only tried it with the first box disconnected. Sorry but I am quite new to this, how do I edit the batch file?

The invalid command is listed in the black C/WINDOWS/system32/cmd.exe screen. It then shows a number of messages saying that FTP is not connected.

I don't know what will happen with both plugged in but that is not the error you are getting.

The PC which is showing invalid command doesn't appear to have the FTP client installed. For your sanity (and mine) I would say just use filezilla and manually FTP your line across to the usr/keys folder. It is simple enough, really it is.

Or if you know windows, make sure the FTP client for windows is installed.
 
Hi All,
I've just purchased a ZGemma box recently (1st one) and can't seem to find any channels at all. I'm hoping this download will fix this.

this guide looks so easy but I cant even get pasted the first stage. I have downloaded the file unzipped it and put the zgemma file on to the pen load the box up and it just goes to boot then from number 1 to 99 what am I doing wrong ??

I had the same issue, I used a HDD low formatting tool (HDDGURU) to format the usb drive, then it worked. You could try using a different usb flash drive.

hi guys would anyone be able to tell me how to map say the blue button to the autotimers menu to see directly what series links are set without having to go into the menu settings
 
Excellent build. Very informative and easy to understand. I've had a various boxes and images over the last 3 years and this is the first image Ive loaded where everything works and I mean everything. That topped with the "put your line on box" tool makes this the best build Ive used to date. Well done keep up the good work.
 
hi i'm trying to flash a zgemma h.2s box but not having no luck... put the zgemma folder onto 2 different usb sticks and not having no luck... Any ideas? thanks

it wont if your trying this image have a look in the h.2s section for an image for that box
 
Hi all,

Perhaps I'm being fussy in the infobar (when you press the ok button or channel up and down) is there anyway to get rid on the slyk 1 logo?? directly above it?? I'm sure its a picon somewhere...or an option??
