ABM isn't happy once CrossEPG has been setup and used.

Have a look at post #113. It tells you how to remove all existing bouquets and AB E2. Step 3, ABM, as you know, is already installed.

I must say I have not had a problem with switching between AB E2 and ABM and am quite surprised that others do.

Wife noticed that there is background noise on audio, which was not apparent before the update to V2. Have also fed audio through the amp to check & it is still there. it does not seem to be evident with anything other than during programme when there is a conversation going on. If you turn the volume up the background noise is obviously even more noticeable & was wondering if anyone else has come across this? I have gone in to audio settings etc but was wondering if it was more to do with my feed, as it is definitely more noticeable on certain channels. Strange one but any ideas would be much appreciated.

This isn't an image issue as nothing has changed between v1 and v2. The only difference is that v2 was created with the volume on 0, so when flashed you appear to have no sound. I haven't noticed anything odd with the sound and we run ours through a 5.1 / pro logic surround amp.

Start a new thread to see if anyone can shed some light on your issue.

thanks for the help wooshman. I have one other ssmall problem with xmltv importer, at the min its only showing short description after boot, but when i reload epg from hdd the long descriptions show and then after a reboot back to short description. anyone any ideas?

xmltv import is not included in this image so it is an issue with xmltv import not the image. May I suggest you start a thread requesting help.

are you having fun woosh... reading your thread it looks fun ;)

I was trying to think what I can compare it to. It is a bit like bipolar, on a high when you see the successful ones and the posts of thanks and then rock bottom when you see the question will this work on the zx spectrum!

Fun fun fun :willy nilly:

Some people have reported that doing it via wireless from their laptop has not worked but as soon as they use a network cable it works straight away.

So, stupid question #1: Network cable from me laptop into the box or connect me box to the internet with network cable? :whacko:

box to the internet with network cable , you know you can install this manually in /usr/keys as well

Do you know what..... I have absolutely no idea, Kiddac will know and now I have mentioned his name he will appear, he is like Mr Benn!

*sigh* ;)

right... simple way to add to your favourites bouquets is to use openwebif.
get your ip address of your box. menu..information...network.
type this in your computers address bar. i.e 192.168.0.1 (replace with yours)
at the bottom left of openwebif you will see Bouquet editor. click it.
Top left panel select all channels.
In the top right panel select favorites.
then in bottom left panel select the channels you want and click add to channels bouquet. (you can ctrl click to select multiple channels)

alternatively do it the hard way. Press tv button. In all channels navigate to your channel you want in favourites. press menu. add service to bouquet. select favourites.

note this favourites bouquet is not the same as the favourites blue button. This just tends to show all your bouquets.
