OK, do a channel scan first then. Step 3 of the instructions. This will rescan the satellite for channels, then try a crossEPG.

Failing that I would say open a new thread with your problem as it is not image related.
 
Thank you for the thread. Help me alot! Just upgraded from a Skybox/Openbox and didn't know where to start.
 
my laptop has broke so are the files all there ready to use so I can just ftp my line across to the correct folder using my ipad.... I'm only asking this as it's the free version it only allows editing and not copying files to it and so on
 
I'm following this guide through. I've got a 512gb usb plugged into the back port which I've initialised. When I try and do the swap file it tells me no device that is compatiable is found? Any help

Brilliant instructions for a noob like me thanks,tried putting n-line and c-line in box. would not work,deleted n-line, box up and running perfect for me thanks again

I would start again if you are only on the swap file stage.

My ZGemma H.2S arrived today and within the hour I was up and running. That would not of been the case with out this post. thank you so much wooshman.
 
Had my zgemma s2 about 2 months and working well. Had been using Vix image with Kiddac's latest skin, but thought would give Atv a go.

Thanks for your straightforward guide and image - its made it very easy to set up.

The only thing that I am trying to change is not have any picons. I trialed the picons in the guide, which are good, but I think slow the system down slightly. I have managed to remove them again, but still have the 'Slyk 1' picon showing for every channel - Is it possible to remove these please?
 
Hey Wooshman. Any more thoughts on why the all 28.2e bouquet and the Entertainment won't export the info?

I have been playing with apps and lots will see the movies, news, sport channel lists but fail in the main list and entertainment.

Oh right didn't realise they were part of Kiddac's skin, will have a look now, cheers mate.

I bet its more work answering all these questions than it was putting your guide together!

Spending 15 minutes on it this morning and I have come to the decision that it is purely down to AB E2 (28.2e) which causes the issue and by using ABM solves it.

The only downside to this is that you will lose your channel numbers in your EPG but on the plus side it will get your bouquets as an m3u and CrossEPG is quite happy with it.

Steps taken:

1. Remove Autobouquets E2 from your plugins, then reboot.
2. Press the TV and then remove all the bouquets in the list. Highlight first one, press menu button, press 8 to delete, press OK button Do this for all bouquets. Favourites is up to you, but I do.
3. Install AutoBouquetsMaker from plugins (it is located in the +systemplugins section) - Restart box
4. Menu -> Setup -> Service searching -> AutoBouquetsMaker -> Configure

Expert, yes, 04:00, Daily, no, no, top, yes, yes, no, no, Green Button (OK)

Select Providers.
no, no, yes, your area [custom], no, yes, yes, no, yes, yes, yes, Green Button (OK)

Select Start Scan.

Once done, press the EPG button. Now mine started on all channels and was empty, by pressing the "Next>" button to move to entertainment tab it was populated, then moving back to all channels was then populated too.

Now try your webif to download your bouquets - mine works.

One option to get channel numbers, which I have just tried, is to use the channel numbers picon set created by chaddyuk. Note to all: If you do use this method along with ABM, fro your EPG, press the menu button and change Service Title Mode to Picon and Service Name to display the channel number picon along side the service name.

First time installation questions.
I have bought a box which comes fully setup as a free to air vix image + sky skin + 7 days EPG. Do you have a version of your instructions for adding the line only (if this is all that I need to do). I have read your instructions but am not sure if I need all of them and where to start following them from.

Go on then I will let you. Providing vix uses usr/keys for both n and c lines the below should work.

Download the H2S zip file. In there you will find a folder called "Put your line on box". Inside there is newcamd.list and cccam.cfg files. Depending on your line details depends on which file you edit, or just replace one if your provider sent a file to you. Follow the instructions in post 1 for better instructions.

You will need to know how to start the cam once on your box as I have no idea with vix.

I hope that helps but that is as much as I can offer for help. If the needed location is different to ur/keys, the above transfer script will not work for you.

At point 3 after reflashing with v2 build but there is no autobouqetsmaker in the menu availible to install. Tried a restart and still not showing up?

I removed and and then reinstalled with a reboot in between, final reboot and followed prompts.

at point of generating bouquets the box kept restarting, tried a few times.

have gone back to v1 for now and will look at doing the other updates to get close to v2 again

Ah, that's because is it already installed in v2 for H2H users.

Go for a clean flash of v2 but instead of doing the region setup for AB E2, (step 3 of main instructions) do the above steps in it's place, ignoring step 3 as it is already installed. If there was a way to get channel numbers on ABM I would create a new image.
