Thanks to all involved for the build. Very impressed.
Installed as per instructions and added SD card later.
A very polished job and top notch look and feel.

Now some questions. Does anybody use the nightly openatv and if so is it compatible with this build? the update says the openatv is too old to update.
is there a tutorial on enigma 2 as i would like to know more? I am considering buying a box just for playing and testing sw. are there any guides to making my own builds or any way i could assist with others?

I also have done searches on the forum but maybe I am not doing it right, but how do you add Favourite channels to the "Groups" got a nice blank area for them but cannot figure how to add / mark them.

Make sure you are selecting SRP and NOT SNP from the list of picons when adding. If failed, don't forget to remove any picons using the remove plugins button (red) from the plugin browser screen

As for favoutires:

Press the TV button -> navigate to the channel you want to favourite -> press the menu button -> select add service to bouquet -> highlight favorites and press OK

That channel is now in favourites

If you flash a nightly build you will replace whatever is on your box, WooshBuild included. The nightly build is the latest image from OpenATV and included updates. With the too old message, you can still update but be prepared to always see CrossEPG and Software Manager in the list as you cannot update these as it will break WooshBuild.

In my signature is a link to Kiddac's Bare Bones guide, that will help you with what I think, ultimately, you are looking for.

I have found kiddacs guide.

I took a chance and updated to the nightly before the reply. I just had a wobble and wanted my hand held.

Lastly if you have any beta's need testing or any testing i am happy to help if i can. I have just ordered a spare box to mess about with.

Thank you so much Wooshman your a gent :-) All OK now must have been using the SNP set as you said and adding the favorites is easy once you know how ;-) Happy chap now. Keep up the good work :victorious:
 
Hi all i'm new to writing stuff on forums and i want to download but i need to write a post first does replying to a thread count
 
Just a quick thanks to wooshman for this build!

Not only is it one of the best looking builds around, but the configuration is spot on - it's the first build I've not struggled with to get things to work. Cheers :)

EDIT: Just a quick question, is it ok to change the scheduled download time for CrossEPG to a different time from 12:45?
If it is will it auto download if the box is in standby or does the box need to be on to download?

Yes, you can do whatever you like with the box, it is yours :-)

The channel scan and EPG update will run in standby as well as when it is on. I will warn you, your TV may wake up when it does a Channel scan and then go off again when finished, takes about 2 minutes.

The only way around this is to turn HDMI CEC off

Menu -> Setup -> System -> HDMI CEC

I never thought about the HDMI CEC.

Hi all,

Got my box today although I cannot connect my cable line to it. There is a connection on the back that it fits into but according to the manual that is for a satetliie feed. I would be grateful if anyone could please advise on the connection that I need to buy to get my cable line connected to the H2H box.

Well I upgraded yesterday from the 2s to the H2S and installed whooshmans image and am very happy everything runs as smooth as day, only grip I found is that I cant have tyne tees itv,had to set to Granada region but doesn't both me,

You can set to Tyne or Tees ?
Would one of those not cover your region ?
 
Thanks so much for the all the hard work and the guide to getting my box up and running. All seems good, but i guess the learning process is about to begin!!
