Thanks Tich, i read a couple thread regarding iptv but i have zero knowledge of it. Can you get the sky skin using iptv, even though its a small thing i just find it so easy to use

Hello peeps sorry to be a pain, im know absolutely nothing about these boxes, i have tried to research them. I am after a box with all channels including ppv and hd, i have sky but its a rip off, has anyone got any recommendations and also how i go about purchasing one?? i have been on ebay but they say no hd channel. Cheers peeps

Fta HD no HD on sly sports but just think what you save
Look at openbox or Xgemma

You can get the basics like a sky skin also iptv is more expensive that setting up a sat box if you need a bit more info just Pm me

I was in 2 minds to either go for Sky or Virgin but in the end decided for Sky I thought with the saving it would be worth losing the HD and the Satellite seems to be more supported here than Cable.

Noob here, What about the v8 golden ? I'm looking for dirt cheap box. Am I right in thinking this is sat and cable? Also I have a old sky digital dish would this be ok if I went down the sat route?

If your looking for a basic box then yes the V8 is fine, you need a service from VM to get cable but you can just hook up your box to the skydish and that will be fine. Ok, yeah I have a service from virgin but looking to cut that right down :) I've read a few post's from The reaper , which led my to the golden. I understand that you have to purchase a line ( not sure that's the right term) does this determine how good of a picture you get? e.g freezing,skipping etc.

A line is what gets you access to your sever which gives you your tv channells if you have spoken with the reaper then you are in good hands with everything

If your on a budget the take a look at the H2H
A better receiver would be a mutant 2400HD, dont think there's many around at the moment as there bringing out new models but I have one and it's been rock solid.
