hi all. had a quick query whilst following this guide for my new h2s. I am giving my old 2s to my brother, and hes given me a HDD to set it up for him. Ive made a mistake and setup my new h2s with a my brothers hdd. I was supposed to setup my H2S using my own HDD(plugged into the 2s atm). Is it just a matter of changing them over and mounting them, and if so I will have all my recordings etc saved from 2s for viewing on my h2s? Or do have to re initialise them both on switching them over and therefore wiping them? If I do, how can I save all my recordings? Is it just a case of saving/moving all the data on the HDD to my laptop, and after initialising it moving them back onto the HDD? Hope this makes sense lol. Thanks in advance

UPDATE: So i have switched em over and all seems ok. Didnt have to mount or initialise. Just had to download epg again. Is this all ok or will I end up having issues down the line?

Should be fine, i've moved hdd around before without problems

i got a new linux uniboxhd cable provider i was just wondering there is already kodidirect on it but no channels are coming through it should i be flashing a different kodi on it or not? please help thank you.
 
I'm having some trouble. I've connected my h2s with ethernet direct to the router but its not connecting to the internet. I'm with EE. Anyone else experienced this?
 
Try switching box and router off then switch router on first when done switch box on

Why do you have to use your area for the satellite to scan would it not make more sense to go further a field or is it supposed to be so it's only local.

If you don't select your local area then your channels won't be ordered as your used to them being ordered, also say you live in Northern Ireland and select London as your local area then your BBC and ITV will be London region not BBC NI or UTV, hope this helps
 
Just go to the downloads section then zgemma ,either the 2s or the H2s and press the image you require then download All instructions are with it

I have followed all of the instructions and I can see the CWS line in the usr/keys folder. It appears exactly as it should but I still cant receive the sky channels. Have i missed something?
 
Have you press blue button , softcam Manager press yellow to restart your camd

Have you put your line details in correctly as if it's out 1 bit it will not work
