upload_2019-3-27_1-49-1.png recently I've noticed that some applications have blanked out menus?
for example, when I open filezilla, navigate to usr/keys folder to change/alter the lines etc, the menu's don't show filenames and I have to guess, take a butchers:

This also occurs in other programmes I use, like if I copy/paste info into programmes like teamviewer or other programmes, it doesn't show on the screen, even though clicking enter makes it do what it's supposed to do, the username and password isn't visible, what do?

update filezilla to the latest one pablo 3.41.2 (2019-03-18)

just done this, thanks for the suggestion but it's the same, also I think it's something to do with windows or the laptop as it occurs in other programmes, just not listing the file details, see this shot of the new version of filezilla, on the left, the downloads folder shows 123 files and 8 folders, no names, and oscam on the right shows six files, still no names
