Freezing

you may have already been told this ... when looking for a good supplier... check out the profile, see the feed back and how long they've been on site... the fewer messages and little feedback move on, the better suppliers can be found this way. thats how i found mine just renewed for a 2nd year
Dosent always work that way mate, take my word for it, and theres plenty on here that will agree.

Thing is how do you know who uses local cards,

OK those are near to perfect so it's not the power levels.
If you are still getting constant freezing, remove any usb's/HDD's and reboot the box and try again.
Make sure you're using correct netid and make sure you update provider files in ABM

Don’t want to speak too soon but itv hd been spot on, I’ve left the stick out for now see how I go, thanks again

no leave it out and see if the same channels are still glitching.
if they don't, it's the usb causing it, I've seen it before, sometimes external HDD's do the same.
not sure if it's the peripheral or the usb port to blame

Will do don’t really need it we don’t pause or record, but seems like I’m back to normal now not froze for over 3 hours just perfect

Started again constant freezing about 10-20 seconds, a few minutes apart mem stick left out of box rebooted box and virmin router not helping

Freezing everyday now. Provider said to change image to open atv. I’ve asked on other forums they say nothing to do with image down to provider.
Anyone running open atv. If so are you getting freezing?.

Have you tried the basics, re boot box, reboot router, if you still have problems try a few test lines, I have used open atv for a long time now and I dont have any freezing, if any tests work, then give that provider a go, openatv does seem to have messed about with things lately and it has caused problems for some.

Yea done everything running 2 boxes exactly the same. You might not be with my supplier hence why your not getting freezing issues.

My provider is not a member of techkings, have you been in contact with yours and has he tried to help you resolve the issue.

Is freezing/glitching happening for most on cable?

Im on VIX and unfortunately has been unwatchable with the sheer glitching and freezing today.

Anyone know what the issue is as provider says everyone is having issues?

VM doing this?
