Best Device For IPTV Only

Hey guys,
I've currently got a Vu+ Duo (Enigma 2) box which I tested IPTV using the XE plugin but not at all happy with it and seems slow, crashing, buggy etc.

I was going to get another device which the sole purpose is just to get IPTV (no gaming, etc).

I see a lot of people mentioning the Nvidia Shield, etc but I only need it for IPTV and cant justify spending that much if im just going to be watching IPTV from it.

Please advise the best device that I can watch IPTV with? Ive seen Amazon Fire Stick but wasn't sure if IPTV would run better on this or if it would run better on a android box.

Ideally I would like to create my own boquets etc, so the interface would be important to me, please advise what device would be best for this purpose?

Or 4k firestick, but a lot is dependent on factors, such as your supplier. Or ISP..
 
although majority are using XC, I understand that there are other platforms also.............
 
Also anyone reommend any IPTV providers. It doesn't make sense because iv'e seen some charging £10 for a years subscription and some charging over £100 for a year.

If you bought a 4k firestick off amazon you simply return it..
Regards iptv suppliers take lots of tests. There are real sharks who will promise the earth and not deliver..
 
There is people that charge cheap like fleebay fruitbook ect minimum is about £10_£15 for a month and about £60—£80+ for year most devices run iptv depends on speeds of isp supplier app device but the devices mentioned on this thread are easily capable of running iptv I use 4k firestick and can't fault it but also with devices depends on budget aswell
 
In regards to 4k firestick. Once I have this I presume this is the hardware needed. Just a bit concerned how powerful or effective a small 4k usb stick will be?

Also in regards to putting IPTV on fire stick I know its up to the IPTV provider to help you with this but is there a particular app that needs to be on the Firestick or again are there loads of apps that can be put on the firestick to use for IPTV? If the latter is the case then what is the best App for IPTV on a 4k Amazon Firestick?

Sorry for all the questions guys as you can tell im not the most knowledgeable in this field.
 
@stuss hope all is well with Annie mate Once you have your firestick from amazon you unbox it connect to Internet sign in to your amazon account go to magnifying glass on right hand side and search downloader download it install it then go to settings then about turn apps from unknown sources on then exit completely out back to home screen most providers have their own apps they will send a tiny url for their app type the link in downloader it will connect then download it install it message your provider for login details or send mac address if stb emu pro then login sit back and watch TV if you get the 4k firestick get the ethanet adaptor aswell and run it off ethanet

You guys are proper legendic. Very helpfuil and greatly appreciated. Is there any good IPTV providers you recommend? Be honest I will mainly need all the sky sports channels, including sky movie channels and shy sports box office to watch all the ppv fights etc. The key is 1080p and HD quality, etc. Also some Pakistani channels will work well for the granny.
 
no one can recommend on a public forum on this site, it's against the rules, post requests in the iptv request thread, but at the moment very few if any will be able to give you a test so you will need to wait
 
this is wider than one provider pal
affects pretty much most.
and its rare. XC down last year for a day i seem to recall but thats about it
