What's new

all VM channels gone off?

‘Cache servers’ can be fixed just the same as any other ‘server’ with the same methods. Everybody sharing 1841 just needs to disable crc checks to get things up and running.
There will still be problems though until all shares update settings to stop rejecting the new ECM length which is actually valid.

Cache servers is a term banded about a lot that implies they are different from the rest. In reality most servers even with local cards exchange cache as well to lighten the load as N3 cards can only handle a small amount of concurrent connections.

When every link in the chain stops crc checks for 1841 everything should settle down. How long it lasts though is a completely different matter. These changes could be in preparation for switching completely to the newer CAS (encryption)
Not all using local use cashe, No need unless its overloaded

Zgemma H1, Open ATV 6.2, wooshbuild, mgcamd 1.45c Preston area

Trouble since Thursday, just got home from work and all clearing and working as it should. I believe i'm using cache server.

Informed server provider yesterday so looking like it is something they can resolve and have done for me without me doing anything.

Maybe not the end of VM just yet.

My supplier is telling me I have to use mgcamd. So annoying because I dunno how to use that. Can't tell if he's lying or not

Why is he lying ??? Its posted every where 👎 Not his fault you do not know how to use it is it
Because my supplier said never yo use mgcamd because oscam is far superior and I have an arm receiver. Seems strange that he is saying use mgcamd. He hasn't even specified what version mgcamd to use

my virgin line was in together with a euro sat line that worked fine on virgin until now, i was using oscam emu but the line was cccam protocol, my provider has given me more settings to change but still no good, would i be right in thinking the changes mentioned here only work with a line with a newcamd protocol?
