HI all. just got a new quad core box but it keeps flashing off and on when connected to my big tv but is fine on smaller ones upstairs,the box itself doesn't turn off so i bought a new HDMI lead but still happening ,any ideas? cheers

if its running kitkat 4.4. Go to settings > then display look for HDMI auto-detection, It may be selected to auto-detection ON, if so, turn off and select the box below " HDMI Output MODE" change settings in there to a different setting. EX. 720, 1080. The HZ can vary 50HZ 60HZ etc,.,,

If the HDMI Auto-detect was already off, turn it on.

Cheers mate, the HDMI was set too high, dropped it down and seems to stay on ,will shout again if in trub. Again thanx
