thanks. i must be doing something stupid! Been using filezilla and its seeing the box but not recognising the mgcam

Yeah you have to use a 3rd party program for FTP. The Macs own FTP system won't do it.

u need to put your newcamd.list in var keys also mg-cfg file or if cfg goes in var etc and cfg file u dont put in mgcamd

I'm using "TExtEdit" to change line and upload. Does that matter?

have u got a newcamd.list file or cfg or just editing one thats in there u dont want to change anything as 1 space or letter out wont work just send whole file that line came in

If you are still having trouble down load Idreamx it so easy to use all you have to do is put the ip address from your box and then you can alter everything try it
