Are we stuck with VPN use forever?

A little late to this, but a lot of countries/providers are starting to throttle services during certain events. A VPN can definitely help with this and I usually recommend to try with and without one to see which way works better for folks.

Yup it's standard stuff bud always have a VPN.👍

I have a couple of servers and come big match big boxing it's scrambled time. I use Nord and 2 don't like it totally blocking me as though the servers dead, turn it off servers back but scrambled so the server doesn't allow VPNs by the sounds of it.

Then there's the fine art of tuning Nord, which country to select ?. I find Dusseldorf can work well or Holland Belgium but it's juggling all the time trying to find one thats stable, its near impossible.

The one thing for Firestick user's I didn't know for a while was, the Amazon ethernet adaptor is throttled at 100mbps.
I thought I would be geting my 300mbps hard wired but not a chance. I bought a Cable Matters usb b to ethernet £15 which gives you a max of 480mbps.
Every bit helps trying to max it

Make sure you're not using Nord Lynx... and choose a different protocol. Nord Lynx does not work well with a lot of things.

Agreed 100% Surfshark is the way to go. Mullvad is close behind, but not the most accessible for some. Absolutely love Surfshark and recommend it to anyone who will listen to me.

PS..... most people ignore me though so what does that say hahaha

I see Vodafone are even stopping the use of VPNs with their services have two and Internet drops connections

I just dont' see how they can stop VPN access when businesses and the such have a legitimate use case. Not to mention that's some serious privacy infringement if they block all VPN usage in my opinion.

Express is good but expensive
I ran into issues with IPTV and express in the past so always stayed away from them. Hell I still have a PIA account that I use for some docker related VPN stuff. I've tried way to many of these over the years.

Yeah was reading up on it you do need to contact them to unblock the use of vpn but by all accounts it's hard to get past the bot

That is absolutely ridiculous. Is it all VPN providers or certain ones? I wonder if things like multi-hop or different locations matter? So frustrating.
