Latest study from PHE are saying 70% of deaths from Covid in UK hospitals are vaccinated people. That's bound to go up given the amount of people vaccinated now but that suggests the vaccine isn't working well at all for preventing deaths or transmission. Israel introduced a third vaccination now for everyone and you are no longer classed as fully vaccinated their until you've had it. It'll be the same here soon. Are we going to continue getting vaccinated every 6 months to be allowed to work/socialise etc with these poor results and continue this alienation of others that don't want it when it's clear it's making little difference, or is it time we all stopped listening to daily fear from the media and get on with our lives.
We're in the same situation as this time last year and yet so many have had the vaccine. I won't be having anymore either way.

I have recently shut my Facebook down due to seeing people insult each other day in and day out as it is such toxic place especially around COVID-19.
Mt sister (healthy 47 year old) had an ambulance called out as she could not breath but oxygen levels not that low to be brought in hospital.
The sad thing about it the whole COVID thing now it has turned into “us against them” now.
I got my two jabs, I have never told anyone to get vaccinated. Everyone has option for jabs. I think no different of anyone who has or has not got jabs. What has made information worse is social media. If social media was about 30 years I wonder how many people would of got the BCG at school.
we all survived that without being told it will make us infertile on social media.
personally just respect those who have or have not got vaccinated. Time to move on in my opinion. The virus is here to stay as is the biggest problem of all “social media”.
I remember last year seeing on social media when Covid kicked off people saying “Russia does not have many deaths as they trade with China”. That is one example of false information.

This healthy young woman felt pressured into having the vaccine because of the rhetoric thrown around by judgemental people and died because of it at 37 years old leaving behind two children and a husband. This is exactly why people should mind their own business.

I haven't once stated they don't work. I've been vaccinated. I've suggested they don't do a very good job with the Delta variant given the stats presented by our own Gov website which I attached. I also said stop telling people what they should put in their bodies. That's it.

You seem totally switched off to anything other than what the media tell you to the point you didn't even look/read anything I said. If you're going to debate me, actually make points about something I've said instead of just trying to get the last word with random comments.

The Gov website I checked quoted from Feb to end of August 51k died of the virus of that figure 640 were double jabbed! 200 of those were infected before 2nd Jab so 400 plus died double jabbed of Delta vatiant some of the 400 had underlying conditions!
I make that less than 10% of those that died, as the vaccination process grows the small % looks larger as more get vaccinated, we seem to be victims of our own success,

yes vaccinated people are still dying, but saying it's not working well is not true. Look at the number of deaths compared to the number of deaths before the vax when daily case rates were similar to what they are today, they are far lower, about 25% of what it was at beginning of the year. a 75% reduction is pretty damn successfull if you ask me.

I'm not sure what you read there but those figures aren't shown in the PHE document I uploaded from the Gov website? If you had a link I could have a look? I'll attach it again so you can have a look.

Meanwhile the fully vaccinated population have accounted for 1,091 of those deaths, with just 536 deaths occurring among the unvaccinated population.

Figures will look higher for vaccinated people as there are more vaccinated than unvaccinated. The number of vaccinated people is about 5 times those unvaccinated but only double the deaths so higher percentage of non vaccinated than deaths of vaccinated

I think a lot of confusion lies in the efficacy of the vaccine.
I think folk expected it to stop the virus getting in, which it didn't, I think people expected the vaccine to also stop the spread, which it didn't.
It helped the general public to fight off the worst effects of its ravages, - it was seeing off a thousand people a day at its height and that was during a lockdown.
In seven months of high vaccination take-up, and a lot of that time there were no lockdown/restrictions, it killed around 1800 people, without the vaccine it would have killed these people in less than 48 hours as witnessed in April 2020

Both good points. 67% of the UK is fully vaccinated so a decent majority and it has brought deaths down dramatically. I shouldn't have said it wasn't working very well, it is (if they're recording deaths the same as they were pre-vaccine roll out), but my point on transmissibility stand. It's made hardly any difference (if any) and people telling others they're selfish etc, for not getting the vaccine and trying to force it on others is wrong. Same if they later try to bring vaccine passports in whilst these are the results after such high vaccine uptake.
